MSI WIND U115 HYBRID

One of the most glaring of in notebook is the naming of "Hybrid", which here is more related to the hard disk, where in MSI WIND U115 has 2 pieces of HDD and SSD hard drives.

With like this configuration storage, SSD drives as the preferred container for the operating system and applications while the HDD is used to store data. In other words, due to a better ability of SSDs compared to HDDs, both in terms of operational and performance. Although for performance, not absolute SSD will be superior.

Another advantage associated with the use of two different drive is side of the battery life. Where conjunction with ECO feature, when enabled will temporarily disable the HDD drive when there is no access to the HDD.

HDD selected for the disabled because SSD will lower power requirements. Moreover, coupled with the use of a 6 cell battery, battery life became one of the main advantages.

Aside from the storage drive, the main internal components also changes with the use of a new generation of Intel platform, the Intel Atom Z530 processor with a speed of 1.6 GHz and US15W chipset. The speed of the processor is still fairly common, but the Z series have characteristics of lower power requirements.

Performance side, it is not too much difference because the average level of the hardware used in the latest series of wind is in the same class. Its advantage of side of the energy savings come from the main attraction.
