ASUS EAH4890 DDR5

Asus use EAH as a code for  GPU AMD / ATI based VGA Cards product names . To learn more about AMD GPU which became the main base of the ASUS card products.

At first glance, seen from data located in the manual book GPU HD 4890, not too different, when it is in the standard position compared to the HD 4870 GPU that has been present for some time. The main difference from the that looks to the GPU clock implementation and use of GDDR5 memory, which is slightly faster.

With that fact , GPU HD 4890 can be said is a HD 4870 which runs at a higher clock. This basic difference and relate why these components run at higher clock is the use of 55nm production process, which is further developed, in order to face transition to 40 nm production process. In addition, between HD 4890 and HD 4870 there is no difference at all in terms of technology support and graphics features

Then for product offerings from ASUS itself, fully design and configuration similar to the reference product from AMD.

One side that can be considered in terms of the difference or offer its own advantages between each producer is on the supply side the sales package. ASUS is one of the package are complete in the sales package. It's just a little short on 6pin power cable bundle provided only one. Though this ASUS video card requires two 6 pin power connection.
